"This is an excellent Mexican grill! The salsa bar is fantastic and is one of my favorite places in Fort Collins. Food prep can take a while during peak times, but it's worth it and the food is fresh."

"I'm really picky about resturants. While there are copious eating establishments throughout Fort Collins, many are overpriced and leave much to be desired. La Luz, on the other hand, breaks that mold. Both locations share the same staff, so the food is consistent. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and the portions require a doggy bag for those who eat the sensible amount of food needed for human survival. The fish tacos and chili rellenos are an excellent choice. As for service, the staff really seems to actually know the menu and ingredients, are quick to the register, and the cook moves really fast."

"I don't know how this place in Ft. Collins does things so fresh, it's as if they were buying food from the farmers. i like the veggie stuff and the fish fajitas with guac. they sure know how to do it right- one of fort collins best secrets. try it- you will love it!"

"Consistently the best service in town considering that the food is fresh and prepared as you order it. The fish tacos are grilled and take a bit longer, but are indeed worth the wait, and their margaritas are comparable to the Rio. Considering this is a 'walk up' style cafe, the servers bring the food to your table and always have good attitudes. One of the best casual eateries in town."
